In 2009 Northwest Steel erected an addition to the Grinnell College Athletic Center.  The addition consisted of a poolhouse addition to the West and a fieldhouse addition to the North.  The Poolhouse included erecting trusses 130' long.  The fieldhouse construction constisted of a 3-story building and a fieldhouse with 170' long barrell rolled trusses.  Johnston Machineworks provided the steel fabrication and Neumann Brothers was the general contractor.
