In 2008 Northwest Steel Erection completed a 7-story hospital for Mercy West in Clive Iowa. The Building consisted of 140,000 sq/ft of steel colums, beams, and decking. In addition to the main structure Northwest Steel erected a Central Plant and a single story precast parking garage. The Parking Garage consisted of 250 structural precast members and an additional 350 architectural precast members on the building. JE Dunn/Ball Joint Venture was the general contractor and Central Minnesota Fabricating fabricated the steel for the project.
